Conference Facility to it’s Fort Wayne Marriott Hotel

Incorporated, a local hotel / restaurant developer, owner and manager of
several full service and select-service hotels, will add a new state-of-the-art
9,800 square foot ballroom/conference facility to it’s Fort Wayne Marriott
“We are excited to bring out almost 50 years of experience in the hospitality industry and this expansion will mark the 50th year anniversary of Azar Incorporated.,” says Yogi Parikh, President. “While we fully intend to continue operations in select-service facilities, we see tremendous opportunities for growth in full-service properties. So our plan is to maintain the select-service hotels we operate now with our own inspection and quality controls, beef up our sales and marketing efforts and turn our attention to full-service hotels.”
The new Marquis Ballroom will be 9,800 square feet and will provide Marriott quality food, service and décor. The ballroom will also offer state-of-the-art technology including on-site audio/visual, high speed internet access, ergonomic seating, and will have capacity of up to 1,000 guests with over 600 guests for a seated banquet. Additional advantages are ample on-site complimentary parking, direct access to Interstate 69, and world class sleeping room accommodations on site.
Kevin Croy, the General Manager of the Fort Wayne Marriott and Dennis Silknitter, Director of Catering and the staff are excited about the new Marquis Ballroom which will allow them to meet guest’s requests for additional banquet space for larger groups. Croy stated that the total cost of the project will be approximately 1.2 million and that the facility should create 50 new permanent jobs for the city of Fort Wayne.
