Marriott International Names Leisure Sports' Renaissance
ClubSport Hotel & Fitness Resort Best New Property
For 2003
Leisure Sports Also Recognized for Overall Guest Satisfaction
and Honored with Marriott's Guest Focus Award

PLEASANTON, Calif. Nov. 6, 2003 -- Renaissance ClubSport Hotel and Fitness Resort in Walnut Creek, Calif., operated by Leisure Sports, Inc., has been named by Marriott International as the Best New Product for 2003 in the global chain's franchise system. Marriott also honored Leisure Sports with the coveted Guest Focus Award, presented to franchisees whose hotels are singled out by guest surveys for outstanding guest service. The awards were presented during Marriott's annual full-service hotel conference in Las Vegas.

Each year, Marriott presents an award to a new hotel that is considered the most distinctive addition to the Marriott portfolio. The 175-room Renaissance ClubSport Hotel and Fitness Resort won this year's

award because of the innovative concept design that combines a four-diamond, boutique-style hotel with an, 85,000 square foot, upscale fitness facility.

Leisure Sports was also recognized with Marriott International's Guest Focus Award. An award presented to franchisees whose properties achieve the highest service ratings based on guest-satisfaction surveys.

Renaissance ClubSport, with distinctive architecture and colorful furnishings is a world-class sports and fitness resort. Guests committed to getting in shape can take advantage of the sports club, featuring 12,000 square feet of cardiovascular, circuit and free weight equipment, an NCAA-regulation gymnasium, basketball volleyball, group exercise studios, racquetball and squash courts and fully appointed locker rooms. An outdoor aquatic includes three swimming pools, a whirlpool, bocce courts, and garden patio area for special events. Weekly group exercise classes taught by Bay Area top instructors include: step, cycling, yoga, Pilates, tai chi, kickboxing, and more.
