San Jose City Council Awards 10-year Contract
to Dolce International to Operate the
214 room Hayes Mansion
Montvale, New Jersey � USA (December 12, 2003) � Dolce International has been selected to manage the historic Hayes Mansion Conference Center in San Jose, California.  The San Jose City Council awarded the 10-year contract to Dolce International in a unanimous vote on December 2. This luxuriously appointed property will be repositioned as Dolce Hayes Mansion and becomes the twenty-third property in the Dolce Conference and Resort Destinations brand.
 
Hayes Mansion offers 214 spacious guest rooms and suites, 33,000 square feet of meeting space, extensive and varied dining areas, and a full-service spa and fitness center. 

Located in the heart of California�s Silicon Valley, this award-winning center offers groups and individuals a unique blend of tranquility, service and productivity. Built in 1905 and designed by famed architect George Page, this elegant Mediterranean

style home was once the intended residence of wealthy faith healer Mary Hayes Chynoweth and her two grown sons.  Throughout its history, the Hayes Mansion has served as a unique setting for business and social activities. Renovated and opened to the public in 1994, the property quickly became the region�s premier facility for meetings and events. Now another chapter in the famed mansion�s history is being written. 

A new wing, adding 74 rooms and a new conference wing, was completed in 2002.
