Cleveland, OH (September 24, 2003) Tim Wagstaff has been appointed
General Manager of the Cleveland Airport Marriott, a newly renovated hotel
featuring 371 deluxe guest rooms. Tim Wagstaff joins the Cleveland
Airport Marriott from Winegardner and Hammons where for the last four years
he was the General Manager at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport Marriott.
Mr. Wagstaff has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Liberty State College. He began his career with Winegardner and Hammons in 1987, rising up through the ranks until reaching the position of General Manager at the Holiday Inn in Silver Spring Maryland. The hotel was subsequently sold to Lodgian at which point Tim became an Area Manager for Lodgian over seeing three hotels. In June of 1999, Winegardner and Hammons lured him back to open the Dallas Fort Worth Airport Marriott. The Cleveland Airport Marriott is conveniently located 3 miles from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, 10 miles from the heart of downtown and 20 minutes from the Beachwood Business District. Guest rooms are specifically designed for the business traveler with an executive floor, 16 meeting rooms, and 15500 sq. ft. total meeting space.
