Jacquin, a French national, has extensive experience within the hospitality industry and in sales and marketing.  Upon completion of his studies, Jacquin began his career in 1989 as assistant general manager of the Hotel Palm Beach in Saly, Senegal, and two years later he moved to the French West Indies to become the deputy director of the Hotel Manapany in Saint Barthelemy. During this time, he was instrumental in the reorganization of the sales force and the coverage and coordination of the main markets and suppliers, including the corporate key accounts, tour operators, agencies, and the meetings, incentives, conventions and events (MICE) segment.

In 2001 he stepped out of the hospitality industry and joined Europcar International, the largest car rental company in Europe, as global sales director and was based in St. Quentin en Yvelines in France.  In this role, Jacquin was responsible for a global revenue in excess of EUR 200 million (approx. $217 million U.S.) and 50 key accounts, building unification of the Europcar network in his sales and account management approach.

Jacquin is a graduate in sales and marketing from the Institut Supérieur Européen de Gestion in Paris and the French Chamber of Commerce in Toulouse.  He speaks French, English and Italian.

In March 2003, Rezidor SAS announced its new lifestyle hotel brand Cerruti, a joint initiative with the international fashion house. Rezidor SAS currently includes 210 hotels in operation and under development in 40 countries. The company aims to include 700 hotels under the different brands by 2012.
