Holiday Inn Vista Shanghai Achieves Record 64% Occupancy
& Positive Net Operating Profit In Its First Month

SINGAPORE, 22 September, 2003 � Within three weeks of its opening, InterContinental Hotels Group�s fifth hotel in Shanghai, Holiday Inn Vista Shanghai achieved an impressive record of 64.3% occupancy rate and a positive net operating profit. The new hotel, which opened on 11 August 2003, is also the latest addition to the Group�s China portfolio of 41 hotels and resorts (inclusive of Holiday Inn Vista Shanghai). This new hotel reaffirms the Group�s brand leadership in China.

Holiday Inn Vista Shanghai is owned by Anhui Gujing Group Co Ltd., a well-known domestic brewery in China. The Holiday Inn Vista Shanghai is strategically located at Chang Shou Road, at the intersection of Jin An, Chang Ning and Pu Tuo Districts. It is only 10 minutes away from the city centre, 20 minutes from the Hong Qiao Airport and 10 minutes from the Shanghai Railway Station. Holiday Inn Vista Shanghai has two Executive Floors, 290 guestrooms and 60 suites, and was designed with the needs and tastes of the modern traveller in mind.
