Boyne USA Resorts Flags The Inn at
Bay Harbor a Renaissance

WASHINGTON, D.C. Sept. 16, 2003 Renaissance Hotels & Resorts, a full-service division of Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR), announced today that The Inn at Bay Harbor, located along Little Traverse Bay in Bay Harbor, Mich., will become a Renaissance resort on Dec. 12, 2003.

The Inn at Bay Harbor -- A Renaissance Resort will be our 125th property worldwide, said Jurgen Giesbert, senior vice president, Renaissance Hotels & Resorts. The Inn at Bay Harbor is an excellent reflection of what Renaissance embodies style, attentive and respectful service, imaginative food a sophisticated and enjoyable guest experience.

Located at 3600 Village Harbor Drive, the five-year old, Victorian-inspired inn, owned and managed by Boyne USA Resorts, offers lodging with all the luxuries of home.  Guests can choose from 85 one-, two- and three-bedroom suites with an assortment of floor plans, or 24 two- and three-bedroom Lakeside Cottages.  Most guest rooms feature a kitchen, fireplace, and balcony to provide added convenience and comfort for travelers.

Activities at The Inn range from lawn croquet, chess, live entertainment and gallery tours to skiing, ice-skating, mountain biking and fishing.  Guests can also take advantage of Boyne USAs 162 holes of golf a short drive away; most prominently, Bay Harbor Golf Club.  Ranked by Golf Digest magazine as one of the Sweet Sixteen courses, Bay Harbor Golf Club was designed by Arthur Hills in collaboration with Stephen Kircher, president of eastern operations for Boyne USA Resorts, and offers 27 holes with spectacular views of Lake Michigan.

Also nationally recognized is The Spa at The Inn at Bay Harbor, winner of a 2003 Readers Choice Award from Spa Finder magazine.  The Spa offers six treatment rooms and a diverse menu of relaxation and pampering options to refresh and revive guests.  From massages, body wraps and facials to hydrotherapy and exfoliation treatments, The Spa offers the latest in wellness programs and holistic treatments and features ancient Japanese and East Indian techniques of Reiki, Shirodara and Abhyanga.

The Inns three unique dining venues equally embrace the essence of Renaissance.  Under the leadership of Executive Chef John Savchuk, guests can choose resort-style dining at Sagamores, South American Grille, and The Inn Cafe.  Sagamores, a Wine Spectator magazines 2003 Award of Excellence recipient, offers contemporary Midwestern cuisine and waterfront views of Lake Michigan. The South American Grille, designed to mirror one of the Great Lake steamships of the 1950s, offers an extensive list of wines by the glass to complement the bistro menu, while The Inn Café serves an eclectic menu of food, wine, beverages and pastries in a 1900s ice cream parlor setting.  Also available for guests enjoyment are Arthurs 27 and the Links Grille at Bay Harbor Golf Club.

The Renaissance Hotels & Resorts brand is designed for quality-tier travelers who prize individuality and prefer distinctive hotels that enhance their enjoyment of travel.
