Earns Praise for Winning Gold at the “Decade of Good Taste” Annual Food Competition |
| GLEN COVE, NY – April 29, 2003 –The Harrison
Conference Center at Glen Cove’s Executive Chef Brendan Slaven and his
culinary team won First Place for their entrée at the “Decade of
Good Taste” annual culinary competition held recently on Long Island.
The winning entrée of Tenderloin of Veal filled with Morel Duxelle
laid on a bed of Thyme Spatzle with Bacon Lardons, Morel Cream and Truffle
Reduction beat out 70 other competitors.
This annual event benefits the South Nassau Communities Hospital.
