Eatontown, Cranbury and Mt. Laurel |
ATLANTA, (March 20, 2003) � Staybridge Suites Hotels announced today
that it has broken ground on three new hotels in New Jersey. The new 131-room
all-suite hotel in Eatontown, NJ; a 99-room all-suite hotel in Mt. Laurel;
and the 87-room all-suite hotel in Cranbury, NJ, will be the 60th, 61st
and 62nd additions to the brand�s growing portfolio of extended-stay hotels,
once completed.
The mayor of Eatontown, Jim Anhut, Staybridge Suites, SVP of Brand Marketing were in attendance at a ground-breaking ceremony in Eatontown, NJ. The Eatontown, NJ property will be owned and operated by an affiliate of Six Continents Hotels, Inc. Riya Hospitality Group will own and operate the Cranbury hotel and Harish Surati will own and operate the Mt. Laurel property. All three suburban hotels will provide easy access to major area corporations and tourist attractions. The 89,616 square foot Eatontown hotel will be located in the Donato Business Park and is just minutes from other key area attractions. The 55,000 square foot Cranbury hotel will be located minutes from the state capitol, Rutgers University, Six Flags Great Adventure and nearby Princeton, New Jersey. The 65,700 square foot Mt. Laurel hotel will be located just a few miles from Subaru of America Headquarters, America Suzuki Motor Company Headquarters, Okidata Headquarters and in close proximity to several corporate parks. The Eatontown hotel will be located at 1 Anne Marie Plaza, Eatontown, NJ. The Cranbury hotel will be located at 23-A North Main St., Cranbury, NJ. The Mt. Laurel hotel will be located at the intersection of Clove Road and Church Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ. �This marks the first time the brand has broken ground on three hotels in the same state in the same month. With the addition of these three developments to the existing portfolio of 52 hotels and more than 50 in development the brand has hit a milestone with more than 102 properties in the pipeline,� said Anhut. �These three construction starts are helping to propel the Staybridge Suites brand forward on a path of accelerated growth.� The addition of these three new properties will fill a need for up-market extended stay hotels in New Jersey that cater to guests with plans that require stays for extended lengths of time. Guests will be able to choose from a selection of three suite configurations (deluxe studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom/2 bath). Staybridge Suites entered the extended-stay market in December 1998 when its flagship location in Alpharetta, Georgia, opened. Currently, there are 52 Staybridge Suites hotels open and more than 50 under development.
