March 21, 2003- Seattle, WA�Columbia Hospitality, Inc. (CHI) a Seattle-based
hospitality management and consulting company, would like to announce the
promotions and added duties of Chef Matt Baer and Jim Chittenden.
Chef Baer was recently named executive chef for Bell Harbor International
Conference Center (BHICC) and World Trade Center Seattle (WTCSE). Chef
Baer�s responsibilities include overseeing the culinary and the development
of the breakfast and lunch menu the WTCSE Boeing Executive Dining Room,
as well as catering menus for social and business events at both WTCSE
and BHICC and, The Water�s Edge on Shilshole Bay.
Jim Chittenden has recently been named Director of Operations, Bell Harbor International Conference Center and World Trade Center Seattle. Jim now oversees the day-to-day operations of both properties, including food & beverage, event sales and the culinary team. Jim previously held the position of Food & Beverage Director for both venues. Prior to joining the CHI team, Jim had a fifteen year career in the hospitality industry including, project manager for a large restaurant and hotel design firm as well as Regional Manager of Retail Operations for Seattle based, Tully�s Coffee Corporation. Jim also had a successful eleven year stint with the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company. |
