Ultimate Service Award for North America |
NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario, March 25, 2003 � The
Sheraton Fallsview Hotel & Conference Centre has won the 2002 Ultimate
Service Award for North America. The winners of the Ultimate Service Award,
the first and only global award that recognizes front line staff and rewards
excellent service in the hotel industry, were announced at the International
Hotel Investment Forum held in Berlin in earlier this month. The Ultimate
Service Award is an independent initiative in partnership with CNN, American
Express, Taylor Nelson Sofres Hospitality and Leisure and Continental Airlines.
Backed by an advisory panel representing the world�s top global hoteliers,
the award was launched in October 2001 to acknowledge hotels and their
employees who go out of their way to ensure their customers� visits are
memorable and enjoyable.
From October 2000 to January 2003, business and leisure travelers from around the world were invited to vote on-line for the any hotel � city or resort, budget or luxury, large or small � that they believed offered exceptional levels of service. The Award covers nine territories and only one hotel in each region wins the award.
