Company, one of the leading hotel organizations in Great Britain, will
install Serenata NetHotel in the 59 properties which it operates under
the brand name of Marriott.
The key factor for this decision was the hotel group's desire to provide
their sales operation with detailed information on the locally administrated
customer data. The 59 Marriott hotels use the Fidelio Property Management
System. On a central level, the company uses the Delphi Sales and Catering
system of Newmarket International.
By installing Serenata NetHotel, Whitbread for the first time will be
able to achieve the seamless transfer of crucial data between the Property
Management Systems of the local hotels and Delphi.
Serenata NetHotel thus closes the data cycle by providing the Sales
system with detailed customer data, and ensuring central data management.
Thanks to the enhanced interface to Delphi, Serenata establishes a platform
for the integration of vital data into the central sales solution. The
project demonstrates once more Serenata's flexibility and customer focus.
The objective is to realize a unique sales system which allows Whitbread
access to detailed production and revenue figures of more than 2000 corporate
clients, which are updated and consolidated on a daily basis. The hotel
group expects improved customer relationship management and better sales
negotiations thanks to accurate and up-to-date information on the spending
habits of their customers. Serenata NetHotel will also simplify the
recognition of trends and allow for a timely reaction on this basis.
