LOS ANGELES - July 2, 2002-- In an age when delivering
luxury presents a constant challenge for five-star hotels due to the somewhat
jaded mentality of the upscale traveler and operational constraints associated
with difficult economic times, the ability to maintain the highest standards
of service should not go unnoticed.
This is why The Leading Hotels of the World,
which represents 395 of the world's finest hotels, unveiled its "Commitment
To Quality Awards" at the organization's 2002 Annual Convention held in
Los Angeles this past June.
According to Mr. Welf Ebeling, Executive Vice
President and Chief Operating Officer of The Leading Hotels of the World,
Ltd., "The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. demands that its members maintain
the highest levels of excellence - in accommodation, facilities and services.
