PARSIPPANY, N.J. (April 30,
2002) - Howard Johnson International Inc. today
announced the
grand opening of the Beijing Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel, the first of
six Howard Johnson hotels scheduled to open in China this year.
Owned by Tian Hong Group, the
230-room four-star hotel was built in 1997 and completely renovated in
February 2002. Located in the heart of the city's business district,
the Beijing Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel is across the street from the
Beijing Train Station, five minutes from the Forbidden City, Tiananmen
Square and Temple of Heaven and 40 minutes from Beijing Capital International
Airport.
