Fratton began his career in Canada's hospitality industry in 1977 as Food and Beverage Director of the Toronto Hilton Harbour Castle.  In 1986 he was named General Manager of the Hilton International Saint John and the Saint John Trade and Convention Center in New Brunswick. From 1988-1992, he held the same position at Hilton International hotels at Toronto Airport and Edmonton, a Mobil Four Star and AAA Four Diamond Hotel. In 1993 he was named General

Fratton attended the Hotel School Waizenkirchen in Gmunden, Austria and has diplomas from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and from the Hilton International Career Development Institute in both Hotel Administration and Food and Beverage Management. He is an AHMA Certified Hotel Administrator.
