HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – (February 8, 2002) – Huntington Beach, CA-based
Broughton Hospitality Group has been awarded the Operations and Sales Contract
for Casa Iguana Hotel in Mismaloya, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The 53-unit
all-suite property will undergo a minor renovation and repositioning in
the marketplace and be renamed Hotel El Eden. “We offer our guests unique
and experiential stays by providing high levels of service in a quality
setting that can’t be found at ‘vanilla hotels’,” says Larry Broughton,
Founder of Broughton Hospitality Group. “Hotel El Eden fits our growing
portfolio of unique hotels by transporting its guests to another place
and time—if only for an evening,” he adds.
Guestrooms at Hotel El Eden rest in a tranquil, lush garden setting with two pools and a Jacuzzi. All rooms feature full kitchens, two or three-bedrooms, balconies with garden views, air conditioning, and satellite television. Guests can enjoy any of their meals at the hotel’s open-air restaurant, surf the net at the hotel’s Internet Café, or purchase snacks at the General Store. The hotel also features a large fish and turtle pond, kiddy pool, and meeting space for 60 people. Broughton Hospitality Group also operates Santa Barbara, CA’s newest luxury hotel, Inn of the Spanish Garden (www.SpanishGardenInn.com), and owns Palm Desert, CA’s newest boutique hotel, simply called Mojave (www.HotelMojave.com).
