| CHICAGO, IL - December 7, 2001 - Anthony "Tony" Suttile, a 25-year
hospitality industry veteran, has returned to Chicago as the new general
manager of the 163-room Claridge Hotel at 1244 N. Dearborn Parkway.
He also serves as president of the Claridge Limousine Service, an ancillary
business also owned by Tokyo-based Sanpho Corporation.
"It's just great to be home," said Suttile. "There's no other
city in the world like Chicago, and I'm proud to again be a part of its
vital hospitality community," he added.
Suttile maintains an active role in the community through civic organizations
including the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association, where he has served
on the Board of Directors as well as the past Operations Chairman for the
annual Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. He is a member of the Chicago
Convention & Tourism Bureau and served on the planning committee for
the Celebrate Chicago Ball fundraiser. He actively supported fundraising
efforts for a new playground at the Ogden School in Chicago as well as
the Chicago Food Depository through his volunteer efforts.
Hotel services include the Foreign Affairs Café & Restaurant, Lobby Bar, room service, valet service, no smoking floors, complimentary daily local or Japanese newspapers, and Japan TV. Business Services offer private meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 80 attendees. A public parking garage is conveniently located directly beside the property. |
