2001 Board of Directors Announced
ATLANTA, Ga. - March 23, 2001- The Asian American
Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) recently elected its 2001 Board of Directors
at their annual convention in Atlantic City, NJ, March 8-10.
| Dhansukh �Dan� Patel of
Brentwood, Tenn. will serve as the 2001 chairman of the board. An
active member of AAHOA since its inception, Patel is committed to education,
advocacy and youth membership. Former AAHOA treasurer Mahesh �Mike�
Amin of The Amin Group in San Mateo, Calif. will serve as vice-chairman,

mission. Hitesh Bhakta of Park Suite Hotel
Inc./ Canyon Country Hospitality Inc. in Orange, Calif. will serve as secretary;
Naresh �Nash� Patel of Lodging Hospitality System in Pensacola, Fla. will
serve as treasurer; and former chairman Bakulesh �Buggsi� Patel of Buggsi
Hospitality Group, LLC in Lake Oswego, Ore. becomes Ex-Officio.
The new executive committee for 2001 includes:
