William S. McCleave Appointed Vice President, Engineering 
at Wyndham International
Dallas (January 8, 2001) - Wyndham International, Inc. today announced the appointment of William S. McCleave as vice president, engineering. 

�Bill is experienced at systematically approaching technical and organizational initiatives and at utilizing creative measures, tools and management skills to meet objectives,� said Ted Teng, president and chief operating officer of Wyndham. �His commitment to excellence makes him a welcome addition to our management team.� 

In his new position, McCleave oversees and coordinates all engineering and technical programs for the company�s hotels and resorts, including ensuring quality compliance on repairs, maintenance and overall facility conditions. He reports to Curt R. Ewald, senior vice president, operations resources.

McCleave joins Wyndham with more than 15 years of experience in technical management.  He most recently served as director of manufacturing for the military simulation division of ECC International Corporation, where since 1983 he was also an engineering department manager, a program/project engineer, a lead engineer and a mechanical design engineer. He has also held engineering positions at Planning Research Corporation and Bendix Corporation. 

McCleave received a bachelor�s of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado and an executive M.B.A. from Rollins College.

Based in Dallas, Wyndham International owns, leases, manages and franchises hotels and resorts in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.
