    Delta Hotels Commences Management for ClubLink Corporation�s Four Muskoka Resorts; 
Chris Lund Appointed Regional Director Resorts Ontario
TORONTO, January 9, 2001 � Delta Hotels announced that it has entered into a management contract effective January 8, 2001, for ClubLink Corporation�s (�ClubLink�) four Muskoka resorts:  Delta Lake Joseph Resort, Delta Sherwood Inn, Delta Grandview Inn and Delta Rocky Crest Resort.
 
�We are delighted to begin the New Year welcoming these four Muskoka resorts to our portfolio. These properties feature outstanding golf facilities located in a prime resort destination,� said John Johnston, President, Delta Hotels. �With the addition of these four resorts, Delta now has 39 properties across Canada with resorts in Whistler, B.C.; Kananaskis, Alberta; Haliburton, Ontario; Muskoka, Ontario; and, another resort scheduled to open in Sun Peaks, B.C. in time for the 2001/2002 ski season. 

�This partnership combines Delta�s strong presence in the corporate conference and leisure markets and ClubLink�s unmatched expertise in the golf community. The combination promises to lead to increased occupancy for the resorts,� says Johnston.

As Delta assumes management of these four ClubLink resorts, this step fulfills one component of a major agreement between Delta Hotels and ClubLink announced on September 20, 2000. Also part of the agreement,  

Two hoteliers, familiar to the Muskoka region, will also have key roles in the management of the four ClubLink resorts. 

Chris Lund has been appointed Regional Director Resorts Ontario, in addition to his role as General Manager, Delta Toronto East. Lund began his hotel career with Canadian Pacific Hotels in 1983 where he held various senior management positions, including General Manager of Deerhurst Resort in Hunstville, Ontario for six years.

Trevor Graham has been appointed General Manager, Muskoka Resorts. With more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, Graham has been Executive Director, Resort Operations for ClubLink Resorts since 1998. Prior to joining ClubLink, he spent nine years with Horseshoe Resort in Barrie in a variety of senior management positions. 

Delta Hotels has acquired a site to develop a 250-room hotel and conference centre at Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ontario, scheduled to open in the spring of 2003. Another component includes a reciprocal marketing arrangement offering Delta hotel guests preferred access to ClubLink�s daily fee golf courses in Ontario and Quebec, and provides ClubLink with additional marketing opportunities with Delta Hotels. As well, Delta Hotels has purchased a two-year option to acquire the conference centre site at ClubLink�s 54-hole Rolling Hills Golf Club in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario.
 
Delta Lake Joseph Resort and Delta Rocky Crest Resort each offer an acclaimed Thomas McBroom designed 18-hole golf course. Land has been acquired for a second 18-hole course planned for Delta Rocky Crest Resort. The recently completed Mark O�Meara Course, adjacent to the Delta Grandview Inn, is scheduled to open for play on May 31, 2001. A second 18-hole course co-designed by Nancy Lopez and Curtis Strange will be built 

Designed by Canadian architect Thomas McBroom, The Lake Joseph Club was carved out of dense forest, granite rock outcroppings and bobbing terrain. 
at a date to be determined to complete the 45-hole Grandview Golf Club. The golf facilities at Lake Joseph, Rocky Crest and Grandview are ClubLink Premium Member Clubs with access for guests of the resorts.

In addition to outstanding golf facilities, the four resorts also feature a variety of year-round activities. Located in Huntsville on the shores of Fairy Lake, Delta Grandview Inn features 151 rooms and conference facilities for up to 250 delegates. The resort also offers year-round nature trails, a �Tour of the Night Sky� astronomy program featuring Canada�s first resort-based astronomical observatory, dogsledding, downhill and cross-country skiing in winter, and tennis, water skiing, sailing and canoeing in summer, as well as a variety of indoor activities in the recreation centre. 

Delta Rocky Crest Resort and Delta Lake Joseph Resort both overlook Lake Joseph. Delta Rocky Crest Resort features 65 one- and two-bedroom suites. Delta Lake Joseph Resort has 25 luxury villas each featuring a grand two-storey Great Room and generous open space. Both resorts are located on an expanse of prime Muskoka waterfront, ideal for nature hikes, sailing, beach volleyball, and waterskiing in summer and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. 

Delta Sherwood Inn, with 49 rooms, also sits on prime Lake Joseph shoreline. This resort is renowned for its exceptional dining experience. For the fifth consecutive year, the resort has earned the CAA/AAA �Four Diamond Plate Award� for exceptional dining and service. In addition, the resort also features a variety of year-round activities.
