   Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts Adds Four New 
Regional Sales Manager in the US
San Francisco, CA - February 6, 2001 --- In an effort to further expand upon their presence in North America, Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts has added four new regional sales offices in Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, and Washington DC. They are:

Toronto: Susan Bernad [email protected] 
With over 19 years of hotel experience, with 11 of those years in sales, Bernad�s current and past clients include Loews Hotel Vogue Montreal, Hotel Club Tremblant, and Hotel InterContinental Toronto.  She is actively involved with the MPI Toronto Chapter and was previously a board member for CSAE Trillium Chapter. 

Chicago: Joanne Gresh [email protected] 
With over 20 years in the hospitality industry, Gresh has owned her own company, JB Consultants, for five years prior to joining the Pan Pacific team.  She was a hotel consultant doing outside sales in the corporate, association, incentive, and travel agency markets within the U.S.  Prior to owning her own consulting business, she was with Meridien Hotels as regional director of sales in Chicago for ten years.  Gresh is also a member of MBTA, SITE, and MPI and has been in charge of MPI membership in Chicago for last ten years. 

Atlanta: Jill L. Jessup  [email protected] 
With a career that spans experience in the hotel and restaurant industry as well as The Atlanta Convention & Visitor�s Bureau, Jessup has worked with Hilton Hotels and InterContinental Hotels in addition to Peasant Restaurants.  She is an avid runner and took a year away from the hospitality industry to devote time to a marathon training program known as Team Spirit.  As she rejoins her hotel sales career, she will renew her memberships in both MPI and PCMA. 

Washington DC: Ava Sones  [email protected] 
In addition to creating her own company, D2VA - a sales and marketing alliance of hotels and conference services in North America, Sones worked for Tourism Vancouver for several years and was instrumental in launching Vancouver�s Capital Campaign and Tourism Vancouver�s EduFam.  She also worked with Canadian Pacific Hotels for ten years as a National Sales Manager and Director of Association Sales. 

Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts currently encompasses 17 hotels (16 managed properties and 1 marketing affiliate) in 12 countries in Asia, the Pacific and North America.
