Jan. 27--The Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission will honor hotelier Pat Engfer on March 6 with this year's James B. Greene Award in recognition of her contributions to the region's economic well-being.

Engfer, general manager of the Hyatt Regency hotel inside Orlando International Airport's main terminal, has served in leadership positions with several area organizations, including the EDC, Visit Orlando and the Central Florida Partnership.

She is also a board member of the University of Central Florida's Rosen School of Hospitality Management and chair of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign.
