Dear Slim,

I am a hotelier and feel very sorry about your situation.

1stly, I would advise you to review the hotel fine prints on the registration card when check in at front desk. 2ndly, check in the hotel brochure or website if they do publically advertise parking lot with 24 hours security:

With one of both options you would have a case in a court of law if not the hotel can not be responsible for criminality in the city even if a member of the staff is an accomplice, the management cannot be hold responsible for that but then again if the police investigation finds evidences that the management is somehow involve, well that is a different ball game!

Cheers

Alain
