Hi,

I am a senior finance major at Baylor University and am working towards opening a hotel with two other seniors here. The others are majoring in entrepreneurship, marketing, and management. We are just starting to plan and decide on different ideas to research. We are very passionate about this project, and we are willing to work non-stop until we accomplish our goal. Although we do have some basic help around the university, we have yet to find someone that specializes in opening hotels. I have tried contacting hotels directly and have had little success getting information that way. We are constantly researching online, and are reading start up books, but I know it would be most beneficial to speak with someone who has done what we are trying to do. Me and my two partners graduate in May, and we hope to have accomplished much before we reach that point, so that we can maybe start the purchasing process, etc. I have so many questions, for example I am very curious to see what people are doing to raise the mo
ney needed to start such an expensive venture. Obviously investors is probably a large part of that, but we are three college students and have nothing to input but our own minds, drive, hard work, and dedication.
