Hello Dear Folks,
I'm interested in how you schedule staff and personnel. More specifically:
Do you schedule manually (on paper)?
Do you schedule semi-manually (excel/spreadsheet)?
Do you use a scheduling software?
What kinds of schedules do you require: shifts, rosters, etc..?
Where is scheduling most crucial? (maintenance staff, housekeeping, reception, call center, help desk,etc.)
If you don't use a scheduling software, what features would you like to see in such software to meet your needs and would you consider using scheduling software if it answered your needs and was free?
I'd appreciate your responses since I am trying to get feedback from hoteliers and related industry people for research and development purposes. Hopefully, with your help, a software that meets the needs of the hotel/hospitality industry can be made available.
