WHY DON'T THESE SCHOOLS FOCUS ON THE REAL WORLD CONTENTS OF THIS "HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY? WHY NOT ASK WHY THE GREAT TURN OVER IN GOOD PEOPLE FROM AN INDUSTRY WHERE BEAR MINIUM WAGE IS ALWAYS OFFERED YET THE WORK LOAD INCREASES SO THAT ONE PERSON IS DOING THE WORK OF 4. WHY NOT ASK WHY AMERICANS REFUSE TO DO THE WORK AND THE IMMIGRATION ROLES SUPPLY THE MAN POWER? WHY IS IT THAT THE TRAVELER IS DEMANDING MORE AND MORE FROM PROPERTIES AND YET OWNERS/MANAGEMENT WILL OFTEN SHORT CHANGE THE FRANCHISE STANDARD FOR THE "BOTTOM LINE"? ((OH WHEN THE HOTEL INSPECTOR IS AWAY, THE LESS ATTENTION THE TRAVELER WILL GET))
WHY IS IT THAT EMPLOYEES SEE TOP OF THE LINE HOSPITALITY COST FORCED UPON THE TRAVELER YET NOTHING GIVEN TO THE WORKFORCE IN RETURN?
AS YOU SEE, I AM DISILLUSTIONED WITH THIS INDUSTRY AND AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE HUMAN RESOURCE APPROACH....EMPLOYEE RELATIONSHIP BUILDING... AN THE OUT COME LEADING TO DEVOTED, HAPPY WELL ADJUSTED EMPLOYEES EARNING A WAGE THAT ALLOWS THEM COMFORT AND SECURITY?
