Dear Debra,

Cost of romm turn around has all variable costs involved.

STEP 1
1. Cost of supplies or Amenities
2. Cost of cleaning supplies (chemicals + equipments)
3. Cost of manpower (includes cost to company)

STEP 2
You may add this month wise for say 3-4 months. Check for room nights during these 3-4 months (include complimentary & House use rooms)

STEP 3
Divide the total costs for 1st month with the room nights of 1st month. Similarly do it for the other months. The result you get is the cost per room night.

STEP 4
Compute an average of the Cost per room night during the period. This the cost of turning around of room.
